Wines That Are Exciting Me Right Now

After having given birth to my daughter 3 months ago, I’m overly ecstatic to be filling up my wine glass this fall! Here are a couple of wines that I’m crazy about right now:

·         Terre de Mario (Under $10) is a soft, Tuscan wine that’s easy to enjoy and hard to keep on our shelves!

·         Espirit de Pavie (Under $30) is the second label to the grand cru winery Chateau Pavie, one that I visited two years ago while spending time with my husband’s family in Bordeaux. 2016 was an outstanding vintage and you’ll love this red Bordeaux.

·         Hidden Vines Red Blend (Under $20) is made by a rockstar winemaker for a rockstar price. If you want to impress your friends, this bottle drinks like one twice the price.

Great Wine & Great Shoes

My dad, mom and I had lunch with Sarah Jessica Parker recently and tasted the new vintage of her Sauvignon Blanc, Invivo X Sauvignon Blanc. It’s bright, fresh and under $20 a bottle. I was impressed with how passionate SJP is about her wine … and of course, shoes and clothes too! 

Adam Levine And A Pink Tequila

You may know him as the lead singer from Maroon 5 and he also has a pink tequila named Calirosa. What makes it stand out is that it’s pink because it’s aged in red wine barrels. I’ve been enjoying it with just some lime and soda water— it’s delicious!

Surprise Visit To My Aunt’s Store in Yonkers! Jon Bon Jovi’s Son and Liam Neeson’s Son.

Jesse Bongiovi called and said he was doing a tasting and then next thing I know; he had his buddy Daniel Neeson join him. Jessie signed bottles of his Hampton Water Rose and raffled off one of his dad’s signed guitars while Daniel showcased his new De-Nada Tequila. Jesse is such a hardworking young guy and only a phone call away whenever we need something. It must be challenging growing up in your father’s shadow and I give Jesse tremendous credit for the respect he’s earned himself in the wine industry. Jesse and Daniel are pictured here with my cousin Andrew. 

All In The Family

I married the right guy! My husband Edouard‘s brother lives in Bordeaux and knows all the great wine producers from some of the best Chateaux. He is currently visiting some little-known wineries that produce some fantastic wines at a great price. We’re going to be filling up our shelves with them soon.
