Ginger Snaps

Makes 2 Cocktails

5 slices fresh ginger

4 oz. Cointreau

1 oz. Cinnamon Syrup

4 dashes Angostura Bitters

2 oz. fresh lime juice

Orange slices

Make Cinnamon Syrup:

Stir together 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon x 1 cup simple syrup.

Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and cool to room temp.

Add ginger to shaker and muddle well.

Add remaining ingredients (except for orange slices) and ice.

Shake until chilled. Strain into glasses with ice. Add orange slices.
